Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) jointly convened with the Municipal Anti Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) for their first 2023 quarterly meeting. Both of which are chaired by the Municipal Mayor Alfredo B. Dacumos Jr. himself, who likewise presided over the said meeting. Current situation, issues and concerns of focal offices for both councils were presented such as comparative statistical data, e.g. crime statistics, crime solution efficiency, fire incidence, emergency responses, among others. The direction of the MPOC was also discussed as were shown the plans, programs and recommendations which were further enhanced thru a two-way discussion. Generally, our municipality remains to be a peaceful community.

At the gym was also held our 4Ps’ Family Development Session which was facilitated by DSWD-CAR assigns detailed here in our municipality while in one of our LGU’s function halls was also being held another DSWD technical assistance activity provided to our Barangay LGUs which was a Workshop on Barangay Intervention Program.

As to this admin’s office, a mass media personality in the person of Tita Ara Katter of Ikit ng Bayan visited the LGU to be updated on our local tourism plans particularly this summer season. The ongoing polishing of the IRR for the authorized operation of the Towing Falls was hence presented alongside other more related tourism information.
