Sablan, Benguet

April 13, 2023, Sablan Liberation Day was celebrated. Not only was the occasion attended by the remaining Veterans and the late veterans’ sons and daughters of our municipality but also by the Province-wide fellow active members of the said group.

The commemorative ceremonies were as usual acknowledged with the 21-gun salute executed by assigned PNP personnel of our very own Sablan MPS.

The Hon. Cong. Yap who was requested to be the event’s guest speaker was not able to grace the said occasion for other equally pressing matters but was ably represented by his staff to speak on his behalf.

Our Municipal officials, led by Mayor Alfredo B. Dacumos Jr. and Vice Mayor Arthur C. Baldo led the rest of our Municipal Officials and this LGU in welcoming and appreciating the organizers, participants, and guests of the event while at the same time speaking of the relevance and significance of the occasion to the history of the municipality as they also listened to supplemental details relative to the event being commemorated by some PVAO and USAFIF-VFP SDAI personalities.
